PP Food and Mooncake Tray Guide
PP thermoformed inner trays are commonly evaluated for food and mooncake packaging where fit, presentation and handling matter. The correct tray is not selected by material name alone: product dimensions, cavity support, stacking, sealing method and project-specific food-contact requirements must be confirmed before production.

05 / BUYER QUESTIONS
Common buyer questions
01Is every PP tray automatically suitable for food contact?
No. Resin grade, additives, processing and the intended contact conditions must be validated for each project.
02What information is needed for a mooncake tray quote?
Provide product size, cavity count, outer-box dimensions, colour, expected quantity and any reference sample or drawing.
03Why is a trial sample important?
It allows fit, removal, appearance, stacking and transport behavior to be checked with the actual product and box.
